Stacey took the time to understand what we were looking for in regards to neighborhoods and floorplans to ensure we were focusing our search in the right areas. She worked with seller agents to get us viewings of these properties prior to open houses which gave us the opportunity to see houses on the market in advance and gave us extra time to formulate our strategy. Despite being on vacation when the house we wanted to become on the market, Stacey dropped everything to write a contract and negotiate directly with the seller (who was acting as his own agent) to close the deal. She was an expert at navigating us through the process, including getting us past some complications which are inherent in a competitive market. We had a delightful experience with Stacey, from start to finish. I originally approached her in June of 2016, looking for a long-term townhouse hunting experience, as we downsized from Takoma Park to a more urban Silver Spring environment. Turns out, lucky us (and her, I suppose) but we found the townhouse of our dreams with the first one she showed us! It was a short sale arrangement, requiring lots of patience and real estate know-how (that's where Stacey came in of course). We bought it in December and felt so good about Stacey that we retained her for the sale of our previous home in Takoma Park. Once again, she was excellent, coming in with precise listing recommendations and generous help with staging and all the particulars of properly preparing a house for the market.
